The Youths Are Taking Over...
15 year-old Obi Chukwuka, Akaeze 1 Of Ubulu-Uku, Nigeria's youngest King, met with Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa at Delta State Government House, Asaba.
The teenage king was formally presented to Aniocha South Council of Traditional Rulers at Ogwuashi-Uku, headquarters of the council area by the Chairman, Mr. Isaac Anwuzia.
In a brief interview with newsmen shortly after the presentation, Obi Akaeze expressed gratitude to the people of the kingdom for their support, saying in “this time of grief, I am just trying to take everything slowly.”
Daily Sun reported earlier that Obi Akaeze I succeeded his father, Obi Akaeze Edward Ofolue III, who was kidnapped and subsequently murdered by gunmen last month.
